The human brain is full of fascinating mysteries. Intricate internal chemical processes, interacting with the complex external environment, give rise to mood, personality, and cognition. As a computational neuroscientist, my research focuses on uncovering how the brain functions, develops, and degenerates through the lens of biophysical models. By integrating brain MRI with computational approaches, I aim to translate these findings into clinical applications that can help patients living with mental disorders.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading notoriously long novels (And Quiet Flows the Don, In Search of Lost Time, The Magic Mountain, to name a few of my favorites) and taking part in various coding challenges (Everybody Codes , Advent of Code).
